Around a month or so ago the European CSS scene learned that a new set of players would be taking part in this summers season of LAN events. However these players weren't coming in from somewhere in Europe but in fact from the other side of the world, as Archaic eSports had announced that they would be sending a team to tour and compete this summer all the way from Australia.
However since the announcement was made, one of the teams core 5 players 'topguN' has announced that he will no longer be touring with his team mates due to other commitments. The team have had to look for a suitable replacement for him and think they have found just the player in the form of old friend and recently ex fnatic.css star Milan 'xertion' Veeger. Milan will be travelling out to Australia shortly to meet his new team mates and train with them ahead of there trip back to the EU this summer.
Milan 'xertion' Veeger had this to say on his decision to join Archaic eSports:
Well hello again! This is probably the shortest break from gaming anyone ever had. I am still in a bit of a shock. See one week ago I went on steam and Scott started talking to me. He asked if I'd quit competitive gaming permanently and I answered yes. Well that was going to change in a split second. He asked if I had any interest in coming to Australia to fill in as their 5th. I Actually thought he was joking at first. The next day I went on vent to introduce myself and within 3 hours it was 100% confirmed that I'd be going to Australia. Luckily I have a cool boss so I can continue to do some work while I'm in Australia. Anyway it's still a bit hard to believe but February the 7th I will set foot on Australian soil. I'm really looking forward to my time in Australia and our Eurotrip from march till the end of April. I want to thank Craig "Pandan" Warren. He did a great job in arranging everything so smoothly in such short notice. I also want to thank Scott "Boomser" Bednarski for helping me out with everything and I'm looking forward to see him again. Make sure you cheer for us!
